Samsung Runs A Commercial of Galaxy Z Flip During Oscars Before Its Announcement

It is not just the tech analysts who reveal the specifications of the upcoming phones, at times companies plan their marketing strategies to reveal a few keynotes of their new line up. This time, during the academy awards, Samsung has gone ahead and aired a teaser of its new Galaxy Z Flip. Well, the teaser has showcased the entire phone rather than just some specifications of the phone. The ad has highlighted the phone sitting on a table at a 90-degree angle. This is the first time; the world has the first look of the folded phone. However, it does not appear to fold fully flat. Motorola Razr folding phone, which has just released, has reported many issues with creaky hinges but it does folds completely flat.

In the small print ad, Samsung has mentioned that there will be a small crease in the center of the main screen, which is a natural characteristic of the screen. The ad also features two different colors of the Z flip phone purple and black. Users around the world have seen the first look of the outside screen as well, which appears to be small but full of colors. The teaser of the Z flip phone has shown that the screen can do caller ID and it also has sliders to accept or reject the call. Although, the technical specifications of the Z flip phone are still unclear, however, we hear that the phone will have a snapdragon 855+ processor and a 3300 mAh Battery.

Samsung has always been massive with its ads in the Oscars. In the past, Samsung has featured ads in the Academy Awards ranging from product placement celebrity selfies to understated apologies for its exploding Note phones. Google has already gone big with giving away teasers of its product in 2019. Now Samsung has opted most traditional way to give away a sneak peek of its new phone. Last week, the company had also leaked some of the keynotes of its Galaxy S20. Well, users are waiting eagerly for Samsung’s new Galaxy S 20 phones and Z flip phone.
