When it comes to using social media, people make mistakes on them, and that also includes celebrities. Recently BTS, a famous Korean pop brand, tweeted from their official account of celebrating the anniversary of the pop band. But, that wasn’t the controversial topic, it’s the smartphone they used to tweet this thing. BTS tweeted about the band’s anniversary through the iPhone, which they later had to delete because the pop band is already in partnership[ with Samsung. However, the mistake of BTS using the iPhone was quickly noticed by some users, and even after deleting the original tweet, it became viral on social media.

Later on, they removed the old tweet and reshared the same topic through an android phone to realize they made a colossal error. The sponsoring and marketing brands are carefully picked by tech giant companies to promote their product. Use of social media to encourage other products is also the best marketing strategy. Samsung is one of the biggest smartphone-makers in the world, and they use the android operating system. Apple, which is the biggest rival of Samsung, always tries to go ahead in the competition, but massive popularity in the Asian continent makes Samsung the most prominent company.

But, now, this mistake of BTS using the iPhone got noticed by users more quickly and became a trending topic on the internet. Users who saw this flaw posted photos of BTS using the iPhone to tweet, which they later deleted, and then later sharing the same post through an android phone. However, this is not the first time when someone who promotes the product of another company uses another company’s smartphone. Lots of memes also shared saying how BTS would be more careful about using their smartphone to tweet or say something on social media.
