Tech giant Apple is yet to launch the much-talked low budget iPhone. But some iPhone case makers have already opened pre-orders. For instance, users can see the low-cost iPhone model’s cases on Amazon and Totallee. They have listed as iPhone SE 2 cases and look quite similar to the cases of iPhone 8. The case makers have no official insight into the upcoming device. The designs are believed to be based on leaked data about the new iPhone. Case makers pre-design cases for new iPhones in advance to capture the market. The designs are mostly based on online leaked data and often they are accurate.
The new device will be the successor of low-cost iPhone SE which was launched in 2016. It was Apple’s first budget phone. The new smartphone may either be known as the iPhone SE 2 or iPhone 9. The e-commerce platforms are expecting pre-sales of cases as the launch date of the new smartphone approaches. According to Apple, the new iPhone will be launched sometime during March. The company said it has already begun the trial production of the device to build up stock. During the trial production phase, Apple will iron out issues in the handset and ensure assembly lines are running efficiently.
It is still not officially announced by Apple as to what the new low-cost iPhone will be called. However, it rumored that it will be called iPhone SE 2, the successor of iPhone SE. In terms of looks and design, the new iPhone will be similar to the iPhone 8. But it will be slightly thicker when compared to the iPhone 8 which was launched in 2017. It will feature a 4.7-inch display and a single rear camera. It will also have the Touch ID button. It is expected to come in gray, silver, and red color options. It will come in two different storage capacities – 64 GB and 128 GB. The smartphone is expected to cost around USD 399.
