The e-commerce company, Amazon, has gotten lots of media attention today because it has finally defeated Google and Apple to become the most valuable brand. We all know the tech industry has always been a lot competitive because every year we see one company beating others in terms of revenue, growth rate, and tec. If we go back, then last year Amazon was at the third position in most valuable brand, but now it has got a valuation of more than $315.5 billion. The diversification is what makes Amazon such a big company because no other company has taken so many risks. Jeff Bezos even after going through lots of controversies, managed to lead the company successfully.

Jeff is investing in different sectors like space traveling, cloud computing a massive amount of money. Recently Jeff announced his plans for building space colonization with his new company Blue Origin. Diversification of investment has always been a crucial part for Amazon because even after getting lots of challenges of goods delivery from USPS and Fedex, they have succeeded at it continuously.

David Roth, who is the CEO of The Store WPP, said that no one predicted that Amazon is going to sell so much of stuff online. Amazon at first started as a book selling e-commerce website, but since Jeff is a visionary person, he successfully led it into one of the leading online retail companies in the USA. Cloud computing and hardware industry is where Amazon has made lots of money. They have invested continuously into this field from last so many years, and now the returns are coming at a correct rate. Even though competitors like Google and Apple are still having a monopoly in their respective industry, it’s tough to beat Amazon in e-commerce. It will be interesting to see for how long Amazon is going to maintain its crown.
