She completed her school at Foothill High School and was admitted to the University of California, Los Angeles, to study economics. Alison made her debut on television through a Kodak commercial at age 5. In 1985, she was invited as a guest in the NBC medical drama series ‘St. Elsewhere,’ and ABC sitcom ‘Webster.’ In 1987, she appeared in a short film, “The Price of Life,” playing the role of Dana Anderson. She was one of the main cast of the ABC sitcom ‘Family Man,’ appearing as Rosie Tobin, which was telecasted in 1988; however, the show was short-lived.
